DAY 4

We have now had 4 days of digging. Donald has been amazing getting the digger over such wobbly land and both Phil and I have seen him do some amaziongly precarious moves. The hole is getting deeper and Phil is running around looking at the levels! He got his feet/boots stuck in the mire the other afternoon and had to be rescued by Donald!

The above photos are not that clear but I hope they give you some idea of the amount of peat we are proccuring all of which is to be dispersed over the rest of the ground. The drive is moving forward - we have 500tons of crushed stone going in for the drive way which is filling up slowly. Can you see Phil with Eric from next door studying the work?
